چکیده

Abstract The molar heat capacity of terbium hafnate with a pyrochlore structure was measured by relaxation and adiabatic calorimetry. smoothed values the were used to calculate thermodynamic functions in temperature range 6–330 K. general form Schottky anomaly determined.

Characterization of the Photophysical, Thermodynamic, and Structural Properties of the Terbium(III)-DREAM Complex.

DREAM (also known as K(+) channel interacting protein 3 and calsenilin) is a calcium binding protein and an active modulator of KV4 channels in neuronal cells as well as a novel Ca(2+)-regulated transcriptional modulator. DREAM has also been associated with the regulation of Alzheimer's disease through the prevention of presenilin-2 fragmentation. Many interactions of DREAM with its binding par...

Thermodynamic Green functions in theory of superconductivity

A general theory of superconductivity is formulated within the thermodynamic Green function method for various types of pairing mediated by phonons, spin fluctuations, and strong Coulomb correlations in the Hubbard and t-J models. A rigorous Dyson equation for matrix Green functions is derived in terms of a self-energy as a many-particle Green function. By applying the noncrossing approximation...

Thermodynamic functions of harmonic Coulomb crystals.

Phonon frequency moments and thermodynamic functions (electrostatic and vibrational parts of the free energy, internal energy, and heat capacity) are calculated for bcc and fcc Coulomb crystals in the harmonic approximation with a fractional accuracy < or equivalent to 10(-5). Temperature dependence of thermodynamic functions is fitted by analytical formulas with an accuracy of a few parts in 1...

Airy Functions in the Thermodynamic Bethe Ansatz

Thermodynamic Bethe ansatz equations are coupled non-linear integral equations which appear frequently when solving integrable models. Those associated with models with N=2 supersymmetry can be related to differential equations, among them Painlevé III and the Toda hierarchy. In the simplest such case the massless limit of these non-linear integral equations can be solved in terms of the Airy f...
